This is an electronic collection of two digitised interviewer's notebooks from the Brotherhood of St. Laurence Survey of Leisure Activities in1958. The notebooks record details of appointments in addition to other information and additional comments and observations about the household. One of the notebooks was used by Patricia Tymms, Dip.Soc.Stud., one of the eight interviewers assigned to the research study. Both notebooks include allocated code numbers, dates, addresses, contacts, statistical table, details of visits and comments. The notes are recorded in Pencraft reporter's notebooks. The original copies of the items are held by the State Library of Victoria. The digital copies have been created and are managed by the University of Melbourne eScholarship Research Centre.
