BJM02-007 - Conversation between three friends at Sirat's house

Full description

This is a recording of a conversation in Nasal between three friends: Asef, Eka, and Sirat. The conversation was recorded in the living room of Sirat's house in Tanjung Betuah. Audio was recorded using two audio recorders: a 4-channel Tascam DR-701D and a 2-channel Tascam DR-100. Eka is wearing an AKG C520 headset microphone and is recorded in Mono through the DR-701D. Asef and Sirat are wearing Shure SM35 headset microphones; Sirat's headset audio is recorded through the DR-100, and Asef's is recorded through one channel of the DR-701D. In addition to the headset microphones a stereo microphone was placed on the floor among the speakers and recorded to the Tascam DR-701D. Audio was recorded in wav format at 128kHz, 32 bit. Video was recorded in two ways. The first was a Canon XA30, which has an external audio input, set up on a tripod. Camera audio was recorded using a R√∏de NTG2 shotgun microphone connected through the camera's external audio input. Video was recorded in AVCHD format at 30fps with 1920 x 1080 resolution. Additionally a Vuze+ 3D camera was used to record 360 degree and 3D video in MP4 format at 30fps. Informed consent was recorded at the beginning of the session, and the conversation begins at around the 00:03:30 timestamp when the Bradley, Jacob, and Anton leave the room. The three men look at their cell phones, smoke cigarettes and drink coffee while conversing throughout the recording. At the 00:31:17 timestamp a child emerges from a room and walks through the frame. At 00:31:34 two more people emerge from the same room and walk across the frame, but their faces aren't shown. The three men continue to converse until around 01:29:00 when the researchers return to collect metadata.. Language as given: Nasal
