All of them were wearing separate Shure SM10A headset microphones, and they all used Tascam 60-D recorders. Another Tascam 60-D and an a Audio-Technica AT875 Stereo Microphone were used to record the entire speech situation. A Canon Vixia HFM500 camcorder with a Rode VideoMic Pro Camera-Mount shotgun microphone was used to video record the entire speech situation. Several children appear in this recording, including a neighbor girl Duwi who is elementary school, and Lismiana's two daughters Duwi and Riska, and their friend/neighbor Anggun. Full description

This is a conversation primarily between three women, all of whom live on the downriver side of the village: Lismiana (F, 39), Meri (F, 40), and Partiwi (F, 51).
