Brief description The World Health Organisation states that the health impacts of toxic chemical exposure, including plastics, during early life are a modern research priority. Of potential concern, two plastic product sets – phthalates and phenols may be linked to adverse neurodevelopmental consequences. This project aims to provide greater clarity on exposure levels, determinants and health consequences of early life plastic exposure among modern Australian children and accelerate proactive policy responses.
