Biogeochemical constraints on the growth and nutrition of the seagrass Halophila ovalis in the Swan River Estuary - Summary

Researchers: Kilminster, Kieryn (Author) ,  Kilminster, Kieryn, Dr (Author)

Brief description Below-ground interactions between biotic and abiotic factors that influence seagrass nutrition and growth were studied, with a focus on Halophila ovalis from the Swan River Estuary, Western Australia between 2003 and 2006.

Lineage Maintenance and Update Frequency: notPlanned

Lineage Statement: Research was undertaken both in the laboratory(with collected samples) and in the field. H. ovalis was chosen to investigate the role of biogeochemistry in seagrass sediments both on growth and nutrient dynamics. Detailed methodology can be seen via the individual dataset lineage.
