To provide comprehensive information on habitats and biodiversity with a focus on sponges, soft coral and macroalgae. Qualitatively and quantitatively describe the biodiversity values of t selected areas of the reef in relationship to the bio-physical environment, patterns of reef use and access form land, linking these with physical and biological surrogates to enable specific biodiversity values to be applied across the NMP.
