In the proposed research, eucalyptus, macadamia and municipal green waste will be utilized to produce biochar for animal feed additives and compost/soil application. During the manufacturing process, biochar will be produced through variation in temperature, duration of pyrolysis, feedstocks and different options for fluid bed materials and the process is optimised for the production of biochar for its intended use.
