Brief description

Bingara CCA Zone 3 State Conservation Area Derra Derra Section vegetation mapping was undertaken by Dr John T. Hunter in July 2009 by contract for the NPWS Northern Tableland Region. (The Molroy Section was completed in October 2009). The Derra Derra Section is approximately 12km west of Bingara.

The vegetation of the Derra Derra section of Bingara State Conservation Area described and mapped (scale 1:50 000). Eight communities are defined based on classification (Kulczynski association). These Eight communities were mapped based on ground truthing, air photo interpretation and landform.
