Berriwillock (Primary School No.3250)

Full description

The Berriwillock Primary School opened on 21 November 1895 at the town's Mechanics Institute. In 1907 a school site was purchased on Woomelang Road (now McClelland Street), a single room school was built and 35 pupils were enrolled by July 1907.

In 1927 there were 75 students and by 1960 the school had 95 students enrolled. A new classroom was added in 1962.

Berriwillock Primary School was closed in 1993 with the school being merged in 1994 with Nandaly Primary School, Sea Lake Primary School and Sea Lake High School to form the Tyrrell P-12 College.
