Belmont High School (School No. 7585) (VA 5475) is a coeducational secondary school located in the Geelong suburb of Belmont.The school was first opened in 1955, using temporary quarters at the Swanston Street Central School and in two prefabricated buildings at Geelong High School (School No. 7855). In September of that year, the school moved to a permanent building on Laura Ave, adjacent to Rosyln Primary School (School No. 4663). It was the second state high school to be established in Geelong.
At its primary campus in Geelong, Belmont High School hosts the Victorian Bioscience Education Centre (BioLAB), a Statewide resource delivering specialist bioscience, health and sports science programs to schools across Victoria. The school also maintains a second campus in the Colac-Otway Shire (VA 3681), known as Tanybryn, which is used as a campsite.
As of 2025, Belmont High School continues to operate, and is one of the largest schools in Geelong with approximately 1300 students.
