Three types of behavioural tests were conducted on a group of hens from different range use patterns as shown with individual tracking using radio-frequency identification technology.Lineage: A group of hens in an experimental setting were tracked using microchipped leg bands and a radio-frequency identification system to measure their range use patterns. A set of behavioural tests were then conducted on hens that showed high, moderate, and low use of the range daily.
