Bass Valley Primary School (School No. 5159) (VA 5195) is a rural coeducational primary school located in the Bass Coast region of southern Victoria, just out of Corinella.The school was first opened in February 1979. It was the result of the government’s consolidation policy for rural schools, which saw the closure of the following schools in the region, with all students moving to the new Bass Valley Primary School:
- Bass Primary School (School No. 847)
- Corinella Primary School (School No. 1392)
- Grantville Primary School (School No. 1414)
- Kernot Primary School (School No. 4024)
- Kilcunda Primary School (School No. 2307)
- Woodleigh Primary School (School No. 2463)
- Woolamai Primary School (School No. 3856)
In 2000, the school facilities received a significant redevelopment, the result of an almost $2 million capital works project.
As of 2025, Bass Valley Primary School continues to operate, with approximately 240 students.
