Full description
A pilot survey of the quality of the coastal waters of the west Kimberley was undertaken in September and November 2008. Water quality samples were collected for ultra-trace metal analysis and for the determination of total suspended sediment concentrations. The objective of the survey was to estimate natural background concentrations of dissolved As, Al, Ag, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Hg, Ni, Pb and Zn and to gain some understanding of the range of typical suspended concentrations in the region.Lineage
