Genome assemblies from Tasmanian and Victorian adult giant kelp specimens
Lineage: Long-read sequencing reads (PacBio HiFi, ONT Simplex R10.4) were generated for each sample. Pseudohaplotypes (principal/alternate haplotypes) were generated for each sample. Organellar genomes (mitochondrion and chloroplast) were also generated for each sample. Soft-masked assemblies and functional annotations were generated from each principal haplotype.
