Brief description

The Australian Frog Atlas (AFA) by the Australian Museum combines data from the expert-verified FrogID citizen science dataset with expert-vetted occurrence records found in the Atlas of Living Australia and published literature to create distribution maps for native Australian frogs and the introduced Cane Toad (Rhinella marina). These maps represent the most up-to-date, accurate, and detailed set of distribution maps for Australian frog species. The Australian Museum intends to revise these maps as more records become available. The DOI for AFA version 3 (see https://zenodo.org/records/15795227) directs users to the most up-to-date version of the distribution files. Timothy P. Cutajar, Christopher D. Portway, Grace L.
