Richard Divall, editor of the Australian Music Series, has produced modern editions through editing the unpublished manuscripts of early Australian composers: Carl Linger (1810-1862), Fritz Hart (1874-1949), John Delany (1852-1907) and Charles Horsely (1822-1876). Each edition has an MDA number and includes at least a one page facsimile from the original manuscript. Some manuscripts are held in music libraries but for many others the original manuscripts have now disappeared.  Fortunately photocopies of the manuscripts were organised by Richard around 1968 for the ABC’s Musica Australis project.
