The Australian Aviation Heritage Centre holds photographs and objects depicting World War II and Vietnam. Includes photographs and objects from 1942 Bombing of Darwin, Spitfire Squadrons of No1 Fighter Wing RAAF, 380th Bomb Group, Australian American Association, the 1919 and 1934 England to Australia air races, 31 Squadron, Beaufighters, 49th Fighter Group USAAF, the Kookaburra tragedy, and women pilots. Also includes painted montage by James Baines, uniforms, Vietnam Display, the Gunner Hudson plaque and the commemorative 50 year Amy Johnson plaque.Significance
