Brief description

Application of the Island Rule model to monthly surface wind stress fields from NCEP reanalysis and ERA40 reanalysis to generate the wind-driven circulation history in terms of barotropic stream function and steric height. The data provides monthly, annual mean and seasonal outputs of both variables. This project was funded through a grant from the Australia Research Council Network for Earth System Sciences (ARCNESS).
