Brief description
AusPass is a service dedicated to the acquisition, management, and distribution of passive seismological data in Australia. Extensive fieldwork projects are conducted across the country, organized in seismic arrays (i.e. groups of seismic stations). The SKIPPY array was a continental scale experiment aiming to cover the entire Australian Continent with station spacings of approximately 400 km. Data was collected in stages as a rolling array using 8 to 12 broadband seismometers. Guralp CMG-3ESP seismometers and Reftek recorders were used.Lineage
