Full description
The atmospheric boundary layer data includes wind velocities in three components, temperatures and measurement time collected by 5 ultrasonic anemometers at the Atmospheric Boundary Layer Research Facility on the Roseworthy campus of the University of Adelaide.
Five anemometers are located at 1.6 m, 3 m, 4.6 m, 7.9 m, and 12 m high on a 12-m mast. The detailed locations can be found in the attached document named "Ultralsonic anemometer locations at the ABLRF.pdf".
It is noted that when the flow direction is from the north-east, the anemometers at 3 m and 4.6 m high are likely to be in the wake of the large heliostat. Hence, the data may have the wake effects which depend on the heliostat position and wind direction.
