Full description

From 1987 to 1990 Denis Saunders and John Ingram of CSIRO Division of Wildlife and Ecology engaged volunteers throughout the Western Australian Wheatbelt to record weekly data on the species of birds occurring in their observation area. The objective of the program was to establish the impacts of extensive clearing of native vegetation for the development of broadscale agriculture on the region's avifauna.
Lineage: The data were generated by volunteers throughout the Western Australian Wheatbelt and collated by Denis Saunders and John Ingram of CSIRO Division of Wildlife and Ecology.
