Associate Professor Sachiko Kinoshita has been at the Department of Psychology at Macquarie University since 1991. At MACCS, she was involved in the language project. In particular, her research has been concerned with the nature and the role of phonology used in visual word recognition.
Her research interests are in cognitive psychology in general, and she has worked on topics including implicit memory, cross-linguistic differences in word recognition (Japanese vs. English), and unconscious processes.
