Philippe completed a PhD at in cognitive psychology and perception at The University of Queensland in 2008. He is currently lecturer and undergraduate course coordinator in psychology at QUT. His previous research has focused on experimental and applied perception. Projects have explored driving safety in older adults, and the effects of alarms or auditory distraction in driving and other environments.
