Brief description
The ASKAP Widefield ASKAP L-band Legacy All-sky Blind Survey (WALLABY) survey targeted the Eridanus galaxy group during the pre-pilot commissioning phase of ASKAP. Two overlapping footprints (each with 5.5 degrees x 5.5 degrees FOV) using a 6x6 beam pattern configuration, rotated by 45 degrees were observed in March 2019. These 2 footprints are centred at 03:39:30.0 -22:30:00.0 and 03:36:44.5 -22:37:54.7. This data collection is a co-added mosaic of both footprints that span the higher frequency half (144 MHz) of ASKAP's Band 2. This is the continuum data products including the mosaicked image, simplified and extended source catalogues from the Eridanus pre-pilot WALLABY observations. The simplified source catalogue contains 12 columns of key information including source ID's, positions, fluxes and errors, and size. The extended catalogue contains 41 columns and includes all ProFound outputs.Lineage: The catalogues were produced using ProFound (Robotham et al. 2018), with the input parameters as described in Grundy et al. 2023, to find and extract source information from the WALLABY pre-pilot Eridanus continuum image. Continuum artifacts and sources below a 5 sigma SNR threshold were then removed and catalogues were separated into simplified and complete catalogues based on the ProFound outputs.
