Brief description

EMUCAT generates “supermosaics” by linearly mosaicing together the adjacent EMU tiles within each of EMUCAT’s “source extraction regions”. These supermosaics ensure close to uniform sensitivity in the overlap regions between tiles, and are used to produce unique, de-duplicated, source lists, using Selavy, as the starting point for all subsequent EMUCAT processing and value-added data product generation.
