Brief description Concurrent nano- and macro-ordering to revolutionise additive manufacturing. This project seeks to pioneer a transformative approach to materials design by uniting the disparate fields of nanoscience and additive manufacturing. It aims to develop innovative chemical strategies to direct polymer self-organisation across multiple length scales, unlocking materials that combine programmable nanoscale precision with macroscopic control for unprecedented functionality. Expected outcomes include new fundamental design principles for hierarchical self-assembly, and scalable, high-performance materials for sustainable metal recovery and quantum technologies. This will position Australia at the forefront of advanced manufacturing and train a new generation of researchers to drive the next wave of materials innovation.
