Brief description Developing novel time use tools to support ageing in place. This project aims to develop and validate an AI-enhanced, open-access digital tool, the MARCA+, that will transform time-use research and support cognitive and brain ageing. Aim 1 will identify the time-use patterns most strongly associated with cognitive function and brain outcomes using novel compositional longitudinal modelling. These insights will inform Aims 2 and 3, which will co-design and validate the MARCA+ tool to enable automated recall and classification of daily activity context. Co-designed with key stakeholders, the tool will enable scalable, context-rich data collection at a population level for the first time.
