Brief description

The First Home Owner Grant (FHOG) is administered by the State Revenue Office pursuant to the First Home Owner Grant Act 2000 (the Act). The FHOG scheme was introduced on 1 July 2000, to encourage and assist purchasers with the acquisition of their first home and to offset he effect of the introduction of Goods and Services Tax (GST). In order to qualify for the FHOG, an applicant must purchase a relevant interest in land, on which a home is built.

This file contains FHOG data for the 2014-15 financial year for the top 10 , metropolitan postcodes and includes the following: Number(rank), Postcode, Suburbs and Number of Applications.
