The value of this project is further evidenced by the review of the stage production in the Saturday Age - Woodhead, C, `Anna Karenina', Saturday Age, 28 May, p. 24 (Anna Karenina). A white set washed in different colours throughout the performance, offset the two chairs tied back to back with a Gordian knot. Corrigan's set and costumes for Anna Karenina thus demonstrate the dramatic presence of a sparse set and almost singular prop.
