Research SignificanceRearview is an established Artist's Run Initiative. It has a board of 3 directors who peer review all exhibitions and artists. This group exhibition was curated by Oscar Perry and focuses on contemporary installation practice that is subversive through the questioning of the gallery space. The white cube of the gallery was transformed into a replica of a 1980's hotel, with a performance stage, bar and decorated with band posters and memorabilia and objects on the theme of Stonehenge.Research ContributionThe Stonehenge exhibition featured a live sonic performance of music by AND consisting of myself on keyboards and Peter Ellis on electric guitar and drum machine. The work was recorded and published with artwork in an 11 track, compact disk, titled 11.11.11. Stonehenge. Posters and memorabilia and the AND Discography by Ellis and Edwards were exhibited in the environment. Research Background
This work investigates the significance of the white cube, through installation and performance to create an environmental super fiction.
