Full description
This dataset consists of information from rice farming households in the Natore District of Bangladesh and was collected through structured questionnaire surveys. In the surveys, climate adaptation strategies and their effect on rice farming productivity, efficiency, and profitability were investigated. The study was conducted using a structured questionnaire survey that was completed directly with farming households and included both qualitative and quantitative data, including: household demographic characteristics; amount of land owned by the household; perceptions of climate change; adaptation measures adopted by the household; use of inputs (fertilizers, pesticides, etc); amount of production output (rice produced); and total costs associated with producing rice. The dataset is designed for empirical analysis of technical efficiency, productivity, profitability, climate adaptation, and the impact of climate variability on rice production systems in Bangladesh.Issued: 2026-05-28
