Full description
These data were collected from the drilling site at Dome Summit South (DSS) on Law Dome in East Antarctica. The DSS site is on Law Dome, a prominent ice dome located about 120 km from Casey Station. The site receives a high rate of snow accumulation which helps create a very detailed climate record. The Law_Dome_sulphate_data record is the volcanic sulphate (non sea-salt sulphate) record for the "DSS" Law Dome ice core with extensions (e.g. as described in Plummer et al., 2012) from overlapping ice cores which are dated by comparing multiple chemical species.

PurposeThe Law_Dome_sulphate_data record spans 2010 C.E. to -22 C.E and non sea-salt sulphate measurements were completed using analysis methods described by Palmer et al. (2001).
