Full description

The National Archives of Australia and the Australian War Memorial online indexes were accessed to extract specific detail from the service and court martial records. These variables were then transferred to an Excel spreadsheet for summarizing, filtering and calculation processes against an alpha list of officers from which analysis and narrative were derived. A matrix of 415 rows by 53 columns enabled many computations to be made.
