Full description Five-year survival for most women with ovarian cancer is poor, with drug resistance a major problem, especially once relapsed. Outcomes are particularly dismal for the sub-type ovarian clear cell carcinoma that is particularly drug resistant. We are looking beyond the DNA to the “epigenome” to target factors involved in changing the landscape of DNA in order to identify new therapies to treat ovarian cancer, overcome chemoresistance and extend the lives of women with this malignancy.
