Ammonia loss was measured by open-path FTIR from mid Apr-late May 2013. Two paddocks of celery crops were selected. Chicken manure was applied on both sites on 6 May. DMPP was applied to one site on 7 May, while the other site received no DMPP. The objective was to investigate the effect of DMPP application on ammonia emission.
