Kootingal Police Station was originally Moonbi Police Station established in 1880. (1) Moonbi Police station building was erected in 1899. (2)
Moonbi Police Station became Kootingal in 1914. (3) Kootingal Police Station was temporarily closed and re-opened in 1947 because of staff shortages due to the war. (4)
In 2015 Kootingal Police Station was located in the Oxley Local Area Command within the Western Region. In 2015 Kootingal Police Station address was Denman Avenue Kootingal. (5)
