A small temporary fire station was opened at Campsie on 23 November 1907 staffed by the Campsie Volunteer Fire Brigade. (1) By 1910, the Fire Brigades Board had decided to establish a permanent fire station and fire brigade at Beamish Street, Campsie (2) and in October 1913, the current Fire Station building was officially opened.
