DRAFT shell agency created for Records Transfer Project.
On 24 April 1871, Gerringong Ward separated from the Kiama Municipality to form the Municipal District of Gerringong and the Municipal District of Broughton's Vale. The remaining wards of Kiama and Jamberoo were then constituted as a Municipality under the name The Borough of Kiama (Kiama Borough Council). (1)
