Full description
The Albury Volunteer Fire Brigade was established in January 1885. The first Albury fire station was located in Dean Street, Albury. In 1888 Albury Council granted land in Dean Street to the brigade for a fire station which was handed over in February 1889. By 1910 the brigade had come under the control of the Board of Fire Commissioners. A new fire station in Kiewa Street was opened on 18 August 1916. (1)
In 2021 Albury Civic Fire Station was situated in the Regional South 3 (RS3) Zone and its address was 565 Kiewa Street, Albury Civic. (2) Albury Civic was assigned station number 209. (3)
