Tighes Hill Volunteer Fire Brigade was established by May 1888. (1)
By December 1915 Tighes Hill was under the control of the Board of Fire Commissioners. (2) A new Tighe's Hill Fire Station funded by the Board was officially opened on 8 January 1916. (3)
It is not known when the name or location of the fire station was changed to Mayfield West.
In 2021 Mayfield West Fire Station was situated in the Metro North 1 (MN1) Zone and its address was 91 Industrial Drive, Mayfield West. (4)
