Full description
The Mid-Western Regional Council was proclaimed on 26 May 2004 and, on that date, incorporated the whole of the former Mudgee Shire Council and parts of the former Merriwa and Rylstone Shires. (1) The proclamation involved a staged commencement and, on 26 November 2004, part of the Shire of Coolah was added. (2)
