Wanaaring Court of Petty Sessions within the Bourke Police District was created on 1 January 1972 under the provisions of s.5 (1) of the Justices Act, 1902 (Act No.27,1902). (1)
The Wanaaring Court of Petty Sessions was abolished on 31 December 1984 when the Local Courts Act 1982 abolished all Courts of Petty Sessions and replaced these with Local Courts. (2)
An earlier court of petty sessions existed at Wanaaring from 1881 to 1942. (3)
