By 1940 a Volunteer Fire Brigade was established at Avalon in the Warringah Fire District and registered as fire station No. 60. (1)
In 2016 Avalon Fire Station was part of Zone Metropolitan East 2 – Sydney North. In 2016 its address was 689 Old Barrenjoey Road, Avalon. (2)
