Full description
The Leichhardt Fire Station was established by 1887 and was registered as fire station No. 22. The Leichhardt Volunteer Fire Brigade was replaced by 8 permanent men to coincide with a new station opening 31 March 1906. (1)
In 2016 Leichhardt Fire Station was part of Area Command Metropolitan East and Zone Metropolitan East 1 – Sydney East. In 2016 its address was 1 Marion Street, Leichhardt. (2)
