Full description

Originally known as the Burwood Volunteer Fire Brigade, Burwood Fire Station was established by 1884 and registered as fire station No. 15. (1) In 1912 the last volunteers were replaced by permanent staff (2) and in 1925 the station was moved from its location in Burwood Road to a new site in Livingstone Street. (3)

In 2016 it was part of Zone Metropolitan East 3 - Sydney Mid-West and the address was 12b Livingstone Street, Burwood. (4)
