By 1946 a fire brigade was formed in Coolah and registered as fire station No. 261. (1)
In 2016 Coolah Fire Station was part of Area Command Regional West and Zone Regional West 1 – Western Slopes. In 2016 its address was 33 Booyamurra Street, Coolah. (2)
