Gladstone Police Station was established in the North-eastern District in the year 1881 with a staff of one mounted constable. (1) The Station absorbed Smithtown Police Station on 17 March 1974.In 2011 Gladestone Police Station was located in the Mid North Coast Local Area Command within the Northern Region. Its address in 2011 was 2 Kinchela Street, Gladstone. (2)
