In June 1983 a police station staffed by one officer was provided with the intention of establishing a permanent police presence.(1)
In 2015 the Thredbo Police Station was located in the Monaro Local Area Command within the Southern Region. In 2015 its address was Thredbo Village, Thredbo.(2)
