Croydon Park Public School in the County of Cumberland opened in February 1886 and continued to offer the primary curriculum until December 1932. (1)
In 1933 as well as the primary curriculum, the school offered the three-year post-primary pre-vocational commercial curriculum designed to assist boys to enter a business career on leaving school. (2, 3)
From 1944 Croydon Park offered primary education and the post-primary pre-vocational Junior Technical curriculum for boys wanting to enter a trade. In 1963 the Junior Technical School became a Boys Junior High School. In 1969 the school reverted to a Public School.(4)
As of 2014 Croydon Park Public School was still open. (5)
