Full description

Combaning Provisional School [II] in county Bland opened in May 1922. The school changed name to Combaning South in 1930. Its classification changed to a public school in 1952 and it closed in December 1984. (1)

At the time of the school's creation as a provisional school it required a minimum of 10 students for the establishment of the school. The minimum number of students for a classification of a public school in 1952 was 20 students. (2)

There was a previous school at Combaning between 1899 to 1920. See AG/6517.
